re <<I have a feeling it has to do with the depth of the price cuts more than Athlon buzz.>>

Yes I agree that it is due to the price cuts but don't you think the depth of the price cuts is due the Athlon if not the buzz?

RE <<I pulled half my money out of ALSC and am completely out of CY.>>

I understand pulling your $ out of CY....it has had a nice run but I think ALSC has more to go even with its high p/e.

RE "<Maybe tomorrow since AMAT got a reiteration today and was up over two.>"

<<Unless AMAT sees a more robust book to bill, I will probably not get back into most of the semis - my experience says they are pretty fully valued at this point.>>

Actually I was referring to MTSN; it's chip equipment maker. I referred to AMAT only because it is a leader in this sector. Since it got one of its 'buys' reiterated today, I think AMAT will start to move back up and the rest of the sector will follow including MTSN. MTSN's a small firm (owned by a guy named Matson)which seems to be getting its act together. Up or down, MTSN should pop in the next few days.

As for AMD, more and more I think it will pull this whole thing off which means it will have a significant run. I plan to add more in the next few days.
