percent, to 49. Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM), developer of the world's second-most popular cellular-phone
technology, rose 8 1/2, or 4.9 percent, to 183 7/16. Extreme Networks Inc. (EXTR), a maker of
computer- network switches, rose 19 5/8, or 30 percent, to 84 1/2. SDL Inc. (SDLI), which makes
semiconductor lasers, rose 9 7/8, or 13 percent, to 83 1/8. RealNetworks Inc. (RNWK), a software
developer, rose 6 15/16, or 8.6 percent, to 87 13/16.

Bob Craig: Buying low and selling high is for some very difficult. To me, the most difficult part is the waiting. Patience has never been my strength, but if anything has cured it, it is the market. Need a vaccination every now and then. This SI thread helps A LOT! Especially with the humor some thoughtfully contribute.
