Good Morning Sonny,

Yes! yesterday was quite a party . I think that there will be some caution today prior to the outcome of the FOMC. The 1/4 point hike is already factored in and anything in excess would spell trouble. The question now is will there be selling today after the event or more buying?? I wonder how much Microsoft's stock would rise if it won its antitrust case??

Have a great day
Frank

Re: Intel on a roll

Sonny, Hello again. Those of us faithful to Intc should not be surprised at Intc's roll. The wonderful Dan Niles should be excoriated on all the gab shows when he insisted that INTEL BE SOLD @$52.00/share. It's only up 60% since this know-it-all mouthed off. Of course I didn't buy more, but am sitting with a wonderful stock since Jan., 1996 and never lost faith, never traded a share.
Re: our friend AG---Saw former Fed Reserve member Robert Heller this a.m. on CNBC confirm his (and my) view that rates should not be raised, and that there remains no pricing power among all major U.S. cos., due primarily to the INTERNET. But we'll probably be overruled because the Fed IMO keeps ignoring the facts and the trends, so the govt. can keep more of the money they lend to banks overnight. Ahh well, a voice in the wilderness should still be spoken.
We have a 30th wedding anniversary cruise planned to the Mediterranean, starting Sept. 9th in Barcelona, ending in Istanbul. My wife has made great friends on the cruise from Scarborough, Great Britain, and we spoke this Sunday @ $.09/minute with your MCI company's intl. calling plan. The Turkey tragedy is beyond imagination but the itinery remains the same. We will give a 1st hand report upon our return on the 24th .
Re: The bombing of Yugoslavia--IMO Milosevic was not worth the killing and destruction reaped upon the people, esp. since we could have accomplished the same things before, except Clinton was covering and fighting his detestable acts and lying for the full year before all this happened. Now the Serbs are getting killed and are homeless. What a surprise. And Hillary just keeps smiling and taking Hollywood's money, finding out about step-grandparents who are Jewish as she runs for the Senate in New York and looks for an estate to buy in the Hamptons. Not my favorite person either.

Well, enough of my rant. Good luck to to all and YAACOV, if you're reading, we'll be in Italy in a few weeks. So Shalom and Bongiorno till next time.

Regards, Royco

Sonny, I still love (and still own) Nxtl and Uis ( as if you didn't know.) <gg> Still don't know what to sell, so I haven't nibbled at WGAT or MRBA.
