jk - I'm beginning to think the opposite regarding cable vs. DSL. While I'd far prefer to have BA as my high speed ISP, it's beginning to look like that's not an alternative. They've dragged their feet in providing the service, and now it appears that my house is not close enough to the CO to qualify (and it's no more than 2 miles away). So I've reluctantly concluded that Road Runner is my only option, and unless the service is terrible I'll probably stick with it even if DSL does become available later.

Regarding WSTL, do you have any major concerns about the Floorless Convertible they apparently issued last April?

>>What would be your favorite DSL play?

How about WIND? My understanding is that they supply the RTOS for a large percentage of both cable and DSL modems.

See, for example
sbt.corporate-ir.net

also much of the internet infrastructure, car navigation systems, set top boxes, etc.

Interesting thread. Am long holding COMS and TUTS. Have traded COVD and AWRE and think they are great stocks...AWRE is a little over extended after the nice rise post INTC contract news...looked at ORCT and it looks good for a bounce in here but needs to rise above 37 or so to resume uptrend. Pair looks like it can go either way in here since it's at a double bottom but major trend is still UP for PAIR. Probably a safe play in here. WSTL has had a nice triple top breakout at 10 and currently looks like a low risk buy around 11. WSTL has certainly been beaten down in last couple of years...accumulation ongoing (IMHO)...is it time to buy??? Comments appreciated.
