go to garmin's home page and follow the links for a fix.

basically hold down the clear button on unit startup then let it sit outside for about thirty minutes to reacquire satellites (all user data will be lost)

good luck

De Jager isn't sweating over Y2K

SNIP:
>>De Jager isn't fleeing the U.S. to avoid any Y2K catastrophes. In fact, he will spend just a few hours resting in the Heathrow Hilton and then turn right back around and fly back to the United States. Why? Because de Jager, who was once viewed as a Y2K doomsayer, believes the airlines are ready for Y2K-and so is the United States.

"Some people have suggested that I'm doing this to calm people down, that this is a stunt. After all, why would I go up in a plane if I thought Y2K would somehow affect my flight? It is a bit of a media stunt, but I'm so confident in what has been done," said de Jager.<<
