I use Net2Phone's card to place regular calls from phone to Phone and the quality is very acceptable, the PC version lacks but, the Phone to phone rocks. N2P is not just a PC to PC or PC to Phone it's a Phone to Phone call that makes them ROCK and it's that quality which is better than acceptable, try using your phone and your N2P dialup ID to place a call. The call in # is 1-800-840-7438, then enter code + password then place the call, 1-area code and #, and see if your problems persist...I doubt it, I have been a N2P calling card/Phone to Phone via INTERNET caller since march, works great.

cheers

I use a 28.8 (still works great) and use net2phone fro calls FROM India to Los Angeles.

Everything u said about the delay is the same for 28.8. The greatest advantage is that calls FROM India are at 0.05 far less than the $2 they would pay or the $0.72 I pay ATT for calls TO India with a monthly charge of $3.

Makes it worth the delays which u get used to once you figure it out.

Of course if there is a computer at both ends u get the same quality with Microsoft Netmeeting or webphone.

Ohshaw, right now PC to PC sucks, and everyone knows it. No one in the US will use it. However, outside the US, where phone service is marginal, where the average citizen would be ecstatic if they had cell phone quality calls, it is a different story. NTOP is in the US is far more than PC to PC. Their calling card works great and is dirt cheap. The also route faxes over the internet for cheap prices.
