Layer #1: Internet Infrastructure Companies that manufacture or provide products and services that make up the Internet network infrastructure includes: Internet backbone providers Internet service providers Networking hardware and software companies PC and Server manufacturers Security vendors Fiber optics makers Line acceleration hardware manufacturers I agree with you that they may increase growth but they will not grow sales enough to sustain the stock price which is over 20 X historical and forward looking sales. I work in the industry in which mobile communications devices are sold to corporate users. Large U.S. firms are hesitant to incorporate new hardware and choose to wait for the technology get wide acceptance. The fact that Bell Atlantic has not placed any additional orders must tell us something. Their next quarter (being reported in Sept) is not going to be all that pleasant given the fact that high tech buying is at its bottom in the summer months. Keep in mind they do not sell internet infrastructure in which a contract is worth in the 10's of millions of dollars. They sell a device and to make my point, they signed a contract with a South American company for $1.5 million, whippi do considering their revenues were $100 million this is contract is worth only 1 %.
