Ratan lal,

The monovision procedure is a good one for many people to eliminate the need for reading glasses but it is a compromise. When you split the eyes up (one for distance, one for near) you don't see quite as well as the two eyes working in tandem. We use this technique with contact lenses all the time. It is approximately 70% successful. For those who it is not successful, they typically feel out of balance. I am glad it worked for you.
