So you have what might be called a "psychologistic" view of the process of intellectual argumentation in which the attempt to elicit and isolate logical contradictions is subordinated to the project of not eliciting the moment in which any participant to a theoretical discussion comes to see that his or her position re a principle isolated by a hypothetical may need reconfiguring.

Wow, what a sentence. I don't know what it means, and I don't care. As Tom Robbins once said, it's like asking what the Imperial Russian Easter Eggs mean. Or something like that. Meaning be damned; I salute you. You win. I can't come close.

You must be really smart.

So why's everyone think that's a tough sentence? It is quite more comprehensible than much of what has been written here on said subject.

However, and this is my quibble, you did set out (or so I think you have led me to believe) to elicit a particular response from certain people. To what end, I am not sure. You're hypo did not get the desired response from me, and I am under the impression this *means* something. Like I don't know what selfish means, or that I would not use the term under given conditions for reasons other than my own reasoning and beliefs.

But I ramble and compose not such a lovely sentence as you in the process.
