Capt Rocky, Re: Telephone being the key word. he is thinking tele-com and that may have been a slip. That's the second time in a week that he has mentioned telecom. I am beginning to think there is something going on in that area NOW that he won't talk about because he doesn't want to lose any focus on the immediate task at hand (Rambus in PCs). But I haven't been able to find any hard evidence of activity in that area. I did find a future possibility on the LSI web site (see post #27381), but that's it. Does anybody know of any activity in the telecom area? It is potentially huge, of course, but probably two years, or so, out. Maybe a Rambus Christmas 2001 or 2002. <g> Regards, jack
