Thank you, yes i essentially had to put a gun to my head for the last month to stay put, and not nickel and dime myself to zero trading the elh, with the exception of kob, which i traded in the early days and bkp which i sold recently, because i thought it was way overdone at 17+ i have significant positions in all the other plays, and will stay the course, thanks again to all the thread mainstays it is truly a pleasure coming here, and be able to learn something valuable just about every visit

Hi Doc,

While the "Gross" pay interval (i.e. the total Temblor formation thickness, top to bottom) is expected to be in the order of 2,000 feet, I do not think anyone in the JV expects it to all be "Net" pay (capable of storing and producing hydrocarbons). At the very best, I think numbers as high as 85% net/gross have been quoted but even that could be wildly optimistic.

BTW, my apologies to the thread for spreading "bad info" regarding the spudding of the BKP development well. I had been previously advised by a source close to one of the participants that the well had spudded Saturday. That apparently was false as the ELK release states that the well will spud this week.
