uncle, RE: Brocade (BRCD) makes a line of Fibre Channel switches, for Fibre Channel Arbitration Loops, which has everything to do with Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage, but nothing to do with telecom.

Check the releases on the Rambus site. Back in Jan/Feb of 98 they launched the first set of announcements.Yes to Brocade, and to Berkeley, etc., etc.
