Devil's Advocate:

45% isn't puny....until you read the book. Actually, three books.

The Gorilla Game\Inside The Tornado\Innovator's Dilemma

Lots of folks who visit here are under the misimpression that mere size, or growth rate, determine gorillaness. There's more to it than that.

For starters, if you're really interested, and we hope you are, go to the introductory statement and read the links provided there. Big help.

45% growth is not puny compared to the overall market, but "Inside the Tornado" where Gorillas are born it is about 1/2 of the growth we would expect.

I know that I am being really picky, DA. We are somewhat obsessive here in our terminology, otherwise we will not recognize a real Gorilla when one is presented. That is the game we are after.

I will take a closer look at CHKP. I have made some money on in years past, trading in an out a couple of times.

It seems to me, before I look further, that the firewall tornado never quite developed, or perhaps I missed it and its over. Do you expect a rapidly increasing market growth soon?

What patents or intellectual property or inventions does CHKP have to prevent others from entering their market easily and turning fw into a commodity sold by many at relatively low (<50%) margins?

Thanks
