Off topic - You're lucky the cable connection worked the first time even then. Both times I moved it took them days to get the modem talking.

S&P...The vertical fracturing of the different layers of sand in the Temblor is great news. No water with this well and most likely access to the entire structure from levels of the first and second sands.
I think when this is confirmed we shall see the extent of this find better described but alas confirmation requires more drilling.

However, I cannot find any reason for disappointment in this information. Thanks....Stephen

RBC Dominion - Canadian Morning Comment, Aug 24 by Melissa Cavelti

BERKLEY PETE/ ELK POINT RESOURCES -Both these stocks were down yesterday on the
back of rumours that the logging of the East Lost Hills well did not go well.
This is not the case. The Companies announced this morning that the well has
been successfully logged and will be cased as a potential gas well. This is
good news and we're just waiting from interpretation from mgmt. We should get
more news in the next few days. BKP and ELK ranked OUTPERFORM.

Hi S&P,

Thanks for the detail !!!

<<There wasn't enough of the second sand exposed to catch it with the logging tools.>>

Do you expect that the JV may attempt to drill the second sand with a small bit after they land their liner\production casing ?? A very difficult task, I know, but if successful it could provide some valuable additional "net pay" info on the 2nd sand and enable a logging of that zone too.

Have a great day.

Later,
grayhairs

P.S.--I'd sure like to buy that bar room buddy of yours a drink !! What's his pleasure ??
