You're a quick study, DA. Compaq used to be King of the Boxmakers, but recent problems have reduced it to a paltry Prince, leaving the sector without a Rule Maker. Dell is a Prince With Attitude, and is attempting to ascend to the throne.

Princes and Kings can provide extraordinary returns, witness Dell, but the manual advises us to "hold them lightly" since they are always under the gun to perform. Gorillas have a greater margin for error, due to the strengths inherent to their business models.

I think you'd find the GG a very useful tool in evaluating the risk/reward ratios of your investments, and would encourage you and the other newcomers to the thread to add it to your business library.
