Thanx-- The ENRON thing is interesting. As you probably
know, ENRONs roots are in the electrical power business.
They currently act as power brokers, mostly in Southwest
and West selling/trading/brokering excess power to those
who need it.

ENRON also maintains a huge trans-US natural gas
distribution system and they suddenly realized that
stringing fiber optic cable along their gas pipelines
was a good thing to do. Now, they enter the "bandwidth
broker" arena as well. Tis a bit different than electrical
power distribution where all you have to do is "throw the
switch" but the idea is similar.

Coming back to MFNX+AboveNet-- This IS their business but
not necessarily the broker part--It could be, tho--
