Gee Vman, do you think the Lockheed/Comsat thing will magically move off center now? (Wouldn't that be interesting)

Then again it might just be a cleaver ploy to let the market rest a bit before coming back in with more sells.

Do you see September (on the slight possibility that all the launches go off as scheduled) being a positive for Loral? They certainly have enough on their plate to put out a nice long stream of positive PR. T7 should get up and on-station just in time for the Geneva conference. Hope the synergy supports the Spin machine. (One day in the future I hope to see how well Bernie can spin up expectations - I know he is pretty good at spinning them down.)

Perhaps the G* shareholder's meeting will be a splashy introduction of the new rep.(From G* thread)

Steve Peterson has joined Globalstar USA [GSTRF] as director of carrier distribution. He will be responsible for
developing cellular and PCS carriers and dealers as distribution points for the Globalstar satellite product throughout the United States. Loral Space and Communications [LOR] leads the Globalstar effort.

Peterson has a long career in telecommunications and for the past several years has been regional director for
AirTouch Cellular in Michigan.
