I don't think you understand the language you quote.

1) Did you expect the language to say: "when the stock is at $5 at 10:29 am on March 13, 2000..." ?? Of course if outlines the conversion price for contingencies and uses the word "if". What else would it say?

2) more important: do you understand that after Feb 18, 2000, conversions at prices below the 7.35 MAY be redeemed for the value of the conversion shares at the company's option? But that's assuming that they have the means and desire to do so. Should they not be able to raise such funds (and if they could, do you care to guess what the form would be), then there's effectively no floor.
