Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by LeFever is fictional and reads much like a novel, however it is supposed to be more or less true. At any rate it is widely held to be a "must read". I've read it probably four times. Great book.

Why read fictitious novels? Read 'Liars Poker' - a true story and far more amusing than anything that a lame John Grisham type can offer. It's required reading at several business schools. The book is primarily about traders at Salomon Bros in the early 80s.
