Production will be limited to 50 MMCF/d by the "tubular constraints" imposed by the well design. No big deal, I doubt that they'll want to produce it at anything near that rate until they know where the water is in what appears to be a highly fractured reservoir.

My GUESS is that they won't pull the well any harder than about 20 MMCF/d at least until they find out (from another well) where the water is in this reservoir. That could very well be the most serious initial consequence of not penetrating the entire structure with this well. That is, they must be extra cautious, and perhaps sacrifice some "early sales" because they still do not know where the water is.

Given the performance of the blowout well, I think we can safely assume that this well will still be producing gas 30+ years from now !!
