I'm not going to mention the name because this is in no way intended as a spam for another company, BUT...like others here the bulk of my investments are in rather undramatic funds and big heavy companies. No sense or need to spend any time messing with them. Then there is that part of my portfolio which is a LOT more exciting and risky. That's where I tend to spend time on threads.

A bit over a year ago I found what looked to be a great little startup with a solid business plan, excellent management, etc. I put a chunk of my mad-funds in it and watched it do squat for months on end. Volume shriveled to less than a trickle. The price drifted around, but mainly it just drifted lower...helped by averaging down on my part which usually sent it drifting even lower still.

I'd call the company every month or so, have a chat with the pres. or vp. I found them to be very open & forthright. Over time I found what they were telling me was being established in fact. I hung in and hung on. The SI thread was (& still pretty much is) dead.

Well, all of management's efforts and plans have recently been coming together in a very nice way. It is being recognized by the market. And, by my rough calculations, we're up around 250% from last Thursday's close. There's more to come from it yet I believe and the target price I set when I entered my position is still several clicks above where it is today.

I've got no problem waiting some more for PNLK to do the same. As much as I thought (think) of the other company and their prospects for enriching me substantially, I think far more of PNLK and its prospects.

It's nice to have one take off while you wait for *The Big One*.

From what I can tell there has been some work done on the servers in the reporting chain. If you remember a few months ago when it first started many companies volumes were reported 100x higher than they really were. I believe the programmers or whoever mixed up round lot and individual share units, so numbers come out 100x higher. This has been cleared up for awhile, but perhaps when this happens again it is an error on an individuals part in units of measure (which may have been permanently changed). This is just my guess from what it looks like has happened.

It concerns me more that AOL is not posting these PR News as they come out. It appears that they use a pick-and-choose method of reporting news they choose because of the volume of news out there. Therefore, if anyone is using AOL as a news source, sorry. They don't cut it IMO. I would suggest checking on the PNL website, the SI facts thread or the PNLK research website for more timely updates. -Jim
