<With all the good news why is the stock taking a breather in the midst of a semiconductor rally. Even Intel is rallying after severe price cuts and institutional dumping.>

Chuck,

I think the stock is reflecting severe financial imbalances associated with Athlon ramp. Most of the Athlon costs are accounted for in Q3. At the same time, due to mobo shortages the Athlon revenues are only now starting to come in. As of today AMD may be $230M+ in the red for Q3. I expect the situation to improve dramatically in September. I am looking for less than $100M loss in Q3. What do you think?

All the good news?

You only listen to YOUR GOOD NEWS - not the REAL NEWS.

AMD's stock is reacting to the REAL NEWS.
