I have astigmatism in both eyes. Goggles alleviate the condition, a tiny bit. With the goggles I can see the lane markers in the pool. Without the goggles, it would be more difficult. I don't like water in my eyes either.

The caps fit tight. They tear easily,too. Some of the guys wear caps. They are the speed freaks.

Chlorine is hard on the hair. And chlorine and perms don't mix.I put conditioner on my hair b4 a swim. The cap also protects the hair.
