Where is this window shade? I have a DELL. Does Dell have this feature too?

WindowShade is a Mac feature. As levy said, it collapses the window so that just its titlebar shows. On Windows, the taskbar at the bottom of the screen serves somewhat the same purpose since it can show what's open.

I use the machine much like Sherrif Bob. Right now, I have three SI windows open. One is on a message that I might reply to later, but wanted to remember to look at it again, so I right-clicked on "Next" and opened a new window. Another one is on a news page. There are also two other browser windows open to various links that folks have left in messages. I'll often leave those windows open for later reading.

Another feature: Windows (with active-desktop running) will reopen IE windows to whatever site they were on when the machine was shut down. I make use of this to have SI open automatically whenever I turn on the machine. I can also leave some of those news article links for another day, knowing that they will reopen when I turn the machine on.

(This, of course, works best only with some kind of always-on connection. It's less useful with a dial-up connection.)
