LT,

You seem to be equally wrongheaded on Gold as you are on DELL.

When was the last time you saw an announcement that a country, any country was planning to add to its gold reserves.

Hint: Even the blind know that gold is going through the same demonetarization process that silver did. And Silver prices never recovered.

And so far, no other PC seller has shown themselves to be even half as smart as Michael Dell. Certainly, you haven't shown any signs of that level of intelligence.

While Dell continues to grow twice as fast as the industry; and Gold supply continues to outstrip demand, I'll stick with DELL.

FWIW,
Ian.

Glad to know I'm an average clown, because some people think I am humorless. I will take that comment as a compliment!

Okay, so I gather that you think Dell is a great company with good growth prospects, and your concern is price. So here's the $64 question: how do you value DELL? Presumably you use a discounted cash flow model rather than a ouija board. Care to share your quantitative thoughts?

TTFN,
CTC

Re: "its pretty simple stuff. you guys keep harping on DELL for what a greta co it si, but nobody ever mentions PRICE!!!! a lexus is a great car, but it ain't worth $1 mil. DELL isn't worth the current valuation, and as the long bond appraoches 7%, it will look even more ridiculous, that's why you get a crash. $10 to $15 is appropriate for DELL, imo."

LT in case you haven't realized yet Dell's stock valuation is based upon a company's earning abilities, while a Lexus's value is somewhat fixed and set. Now if you would of made the comparison to the price of a PC and Lexus -both products- then you would have some credibility but you are a very confused individual indeed. No wonder your calls have been off the mark for so long. Your brain patter needs a reshuffle before you can make any sense! I suggest you take a step back and rethink all your investment decisions before you continue to give other's advise who continually keep telling you they disagree with you by 180 degrees and who you continually seem to ignore -yet another indication of my confused brain theory of you.

LT,

I try to use your logic to argue. It is FYI from me.

The $$ is not going higher against Yen and euro, so we should see mild inflation, and we have to thank A.G., your clown, my... I don't know what to say. Anyway, I assume foreign markets will or have already been lifted for that reason. They buy securities in their own markets. To diversify, they should also buy something not in their markets, especially when $$ is lower, they should buy MSFT, PFE, etc that they dream to have. Since those large caps are the market over here, you probably will not see US market go too low, if not go higher. The small cap Russell 2000 has been performing poorly lately, and this further confirms my speculation. That is also why the tech is on drug w/ financial aid. And many more reasons...

I still don't see gold can go up, like I don't see other commodities go up, even we have lower $$. We probably over-estimate the foreigners.

Hey, I am a foreigner,.. what am I saying... :-)
