If I were your spouse, and refinishing hardwood floors in a house I don't own, I would be grumbling, and making faces when your back was turned, and thinking your head is as fat as your butt.

And putting toys on the stairs.

But they sure are nice floors.

I can't get used to wall to wall carpet anymore.

My 20 year wife is like that. I have a $15 per sq. ft. wood floor that needs refinishing. She wants to rip it up and put down vinyl. She wouldn't be as inconvinienced with the vinyl as a refinish.
