I'll bet they try to keep you happy with a "few free trades"...

BTW, I do not have Etrade....but I supoose Datek does stupid things like that too!

My advise is to print out any confirmations you have, hopefully emails. Hold their feet to the fire and they will make it good. I have never had this problem but have read many posts from people that have. You could always email the SEC your question (or at least tell etrade you are dong that) if you have the information to back your claims.

I'll bet you etrade makes it good.

It is impossible for your AOL Sept 100 calls to have traded at 17, so you won't get that price. If you know the time of the order, you can have them look at "time and sales" to see what the ask price was at the time of your trade and probably get that. Also, they will probably eat the commissions on the trade, which should help. Speaking of commissions, isn't it a little expensive to trade only 2 contracts?
