Well there was a show a while ago on 20/20 or something called "junk science" where they debunked the entire crack baby myth... and it may very well be a myth that crack babies can't grow up normal for all I know. Fetal alcohol syndrome seems to cause lasting damage and of course down syndrome.

I have no doubt there are people out there willing to adopt these babies... in fact I can believe that some people go through stages where at some point they can't deal with it and other times they can...

But what I am trying to get at is whether these politicians who advise that adoption is such a great alternative have ever "practiced what they preached" so to speak. Like I said I only know of that one publicized case with Barr.

I know from personal experience that teen pregnancy is a problem for all classes. Steve Jobs is the father of an illegitimate child for example... its not like this is only an "inner city" problem. Therefore I would expect at least a few daughters of these far right guys to have given birth... I mean statistically speaking it seems reasonable. If they were really trying to make a statement they would have publicized the pregnancy of their daughter... after all the claim you always here from the right is that pregnancy is "no big deal"... (of course imo it is a HUGE deal and to presume that some girl is going to stay in high school and give birth and go right back, no problemo is not realistic)... anyway I'm just asking for examples, anybody got any?

Why would that woman be working for Buchanan? Doesn't he dislike anyone who's not as lily white as he is?
