t.r...re: taking over the interview.. when the course flunking question as you put it was asked, it should have opened the door for a dell filibuster on the future vision and direction of dell, which since february has been seriously lacking in the aspect of media and promotion....one of the richest men in the usa has to exude confidence and use the ability to control any interview and put his words forth....ever hear andrew grove in an interview...damn the questions..he takes over and awes all who listen...

RE: <<not the responsibility of the interviewer to pull the dynamic things out of the mouth or mind of the interviewee.....>> Oh, you mean by asking a question like "are there any new or exciting plans underway at Dell?" I think Renee would've easily flunked "Interviewing 101." Here he has Ted Williams, Michael Jordan, Jim Brown and Wayne Gretzky all in the same city...He is there to cover this "event" and he asks Michael Dell about Ted's William's granddaughters "Y" swimming lessons.. He did a horrible job with Tom Meredith the other day...Tom did a great job to get some factual information out...Michaels' smile was outstanding..I mean the time is ticking on these things..and all he can get at is the same old garbage that Michael and every other management member has already answered 1000 times... Hey RENEE...What about DELLCONNECT questions? Duh??? ask about the new logo...Tom you're being kind...he gets a zero... :o) Best, Kemble
