I find it revealing that the wood floor crowd here happen to be the cat owners. If cats aren't a part of the domestic equation ... I would find it a little harder to mount an indictment against the all-round wonderfulness of wall-to-wall.
We need Rambi to weigh in on this. She's a cat owner-operator.

I would lay down wall-to-wall in my garage if I could.

It just started raining. Shows every sign of being a deluge. Water is puddling up in the yard, because the dry soil is full of clay and baked hard. Grass is dead, so it's going to wash away some of the topsoil, too, looks like ~ we are on a hill. But that's ok, it's finally raining.

I woke up about 11 a.m., it was dark outside, and I looked out wondering if it were raining, no, it was dry as a bone. But by the time my coffee was done, the sky opened up.

Not a thunderstorm, either, it's stationary. It would be very nice if it stays here, for hours even.

Funny how I took rain for granted.

Aw, it's slowing down. But still steady. I can imagine the trees saying "ahhhhhhhh."
