Hello Frank. I will have to get further into your questions about AOL tomorrow. I got to run for the day.

Yes, you were right on some of the funny actions with the FED. I did give you that before. But I did say that all in all Greenspan is one of the best FEDS we have had, despite his almost insane worry about inflation. Maybe he lost his childhood savings to inflation or maybe to the stock market with his daddy being a broker. gg. I have said all along that I do not believe we need a rate hike this time nor did I believe we needed it last time. Last time I overlooked it but this time it's even beyond me. There is something else there. NOT INFLATION FEARS. I guess we will find out soon enough what's up. Let's hope not a decline in our interest sensitive tech stocks.

Ok. Really quick. AOL. Luckily they have quite a bit of cash and may not need to raise any cash. They are going into lots of things and strategies and I am still hoping it will all be to our benefit in the not so distant future. But I will be keeping a close eye on all of it. I did not like all those big sells and I am not sure that the explanation by Bertelsman today why they sold a lot of stock in AOL rings true. Buying into some other company. Maybe the rumor is true that Bertelsman and AOL may make a deal and then AOL would benefit by Bertelsman having bought a stake or bought this internet company outright. I can't think of the name of the company in question right now. Anyhow, AOL was doing well today until this rate hike hit. In retrospect we would have all been doing great had we sold out at 175 and bought back in at 80. gg.

Msft? I think it will go up no matter what the DOJ does or what SUN will do after this outcome. They will probably be suing Msft for breach of contract now. But, as you can tell in todays action, there is very little Msft can do where investors will panic. Let Intel be in that position. Whack.
If Msft wins the DOJ case. Up and away we go to cyberspace. I hope I will be in before that happens. AOL and Msft. I think both will do well. Msft has more money to play with. And they are going into lots of internet areas. A little late but when you have plenty of money to spend it's better than never and you will probably still succeed.

I don't think that there will ever be a dull moment in this internet technology.

I am late and def. off until tomorrow.
