I have a friend who is the boss of a sanitary plant serving about 250,000 people. I took his tour and when he pointed to the gin clear effluent and said it was as pure as what comes out the tap I smiled and waited. Nope, he never took a sip.

It's the taste of Tang I would want to cover. That stuff is AWFUL.

A long time ago my father and I were shopping for a Christmas tree, and walked past a row of plastic ones (not considered, of course). A local old-timer was looking quizzically at one of the plastic trees, which had an imitation base, complete with a place where one would, if the tree were real, put water. He pointed at the basin and asked the salesperson "whaddaya put in there, Tang?"
