Sam and Thread, Thanks for the lessons today. It is clear to me know. Sam, you stated... "The people who are "good" customers of the big investment banks are the people who get these things. They buy the "bad" or mediocre deals as the price for getting to a good price on the good ones." I went to a liberal arts college and Investment Banking 101 was not offered in the course catalog. The way you explained it kind of reminds me of a membership to the RCA Victor Record-of-the-Month Club. You get 12 LP's for a penny at the time of subscription, but then have to buy at least one record a month there after. That's how I ended up with a couple of (still unplayed) Barry Manilow 33 1/3rds in my collection. Well...I see SNDK going triple platinum, so hopefully it won't be a hard sell. Ausdauer ($92 3/4)
