It's crying time again? C'mon folks. Relax. The pattern is pretty clear by now. We got the runup in anticipation of the 1/4 point rate hike. When it happened as expected, the day traders did their thing and from the looks of it they did very well. CMGI peaked around 88 and the sellers jumped on it. You really have to decide whether you're a day trader, a short or a long. I picked up a bunch yesterday at 83 1/4 and missed today's opportunity by about a point and a half. That's life. You know we're going sideways for a while longer, but those short term ups and downs work for some folks. The whole market behaved pretty much the same way. As soon as the 1/4 point was announced the indexes took a dive.

Linda, whether it's daytraders or others... it surely is unpleasant to watch... however, I strongly believe that we will have a blistering rally soon... really soon...
