You are quite right in that Adamski was a government stooge and that he debuted after TDTESS. But you didn't catch my deliberate error that Michael Rennie played the part of the befuddled mathematician. It was MR who played the part of the space visitor who corrected the mathematician's errors in a jiffy just after a fleeting glance at the latter's equations!!!
