For example, PIII-600's have popped on and off the list recently. I asked about Slot A motherboards -- they expect Microstar first probably Monday, FIC and Asus later. I've also pretty much concluded that discounting their prices by 25% gives a good estimate of the ASP that AMD is receiving. (The lowest price on pricewatch -15% is also pretty accurate.) If we assume a pessimistic 40/35/20/5 speed distribution for Athlon, assume a retail price of $800 for the 650 we get an Athlon ASP of $338. Petz
