Bill, it really was a remarkable day. I'm in complete agreement that for the most part the institutional money is what moves the Market. Some times these money flows work in concert with each other, and other times they fight each other to the death. I believe what we're seeing now is the "swing higher" concert about to begin. It's been a while since the stars were aligned for MSFT like this, but now that we have them I see nothing but blue skies ahead.

Regarding the tracking stock issue, though I do agree that MSFT traded up on the original news leak, in the long run a tracking stock for most companies tends to confuse the average shareholder more than drive significant upside value creation. *THIS IS WHY I HOPE THAT MSFT's GOAL IS TO SPIN OUT THE INTERACTIVE GROUP TO THE MARKET THROUGH AN IPO* vs chasing the tracking stock hybrid solution. I see far more upside for us, the average MSFT shareholder, if Gates pursues the former strategy.
