Lene, According to what I read, cotton crops were destroyed in the area of Texas where the storm hit. Since your already in the swamp and come from the Northwest you probably wouldn't even notice a little rain - i.e. 30 inches!

Since so much cotton was destroyed it means we will have a shortage and the price will go up. Quick! Buy cotton stocks! That's how people get in trouble I think, they try to out think the rest of the world. The same people probably said there would be a silver shortage and bought silver at $50 an ounce. Now that was a smart move!
