The problems with Active Directory are many. The lack of using a Time synch like is used in NDS is obviously a big problem - as they pointed out in the article.

But this is only the tip of the iceberg for MSFT's Active Directory woes! Since Active Directory is simple a DS wrapper around and some enhancements to MSFT's current Domains/Trusts structure (which even MSFT techies agree is horrid to work with and manage as the customer's environment gets larger and/or more geographically broadened), MSFT's AD will still have many of these problems remain.
