New to your thread, but you might want to add to you list NASD, JMC Group, Inc. " JMCG" annual meeting of stockholders 8/30/99. 1. Merger proposed, the proposal to approve the merger of the company's wholly owned subsidiary, JMC merger Inc., wit and into Fechtor, Detwiler & Company., Inc. and the issuance of 6,600,000 shares of the company's common stock to the stockholders of Fechtor Detwiler & Co., in connection therewith. 2.) The proposal to amend the company's certificate of incorporation to change the name of the company following the merger from "JMC Group, Inc. to Fechtor, Detwiler, Mitchell & Co. 3.) The proposal to terminate the company's election to be regulated as a business developement company under the investment company act of 1940. 4.) Directors recommended: A vote for election of the following director Barton Beek. 5.) The proposal to ratify the selection of Deloitte & Touche LLP as the company's independent auditors. I have been in an out of this stock, since I discovered that the board of Directors namly Barton Beek, and other were buying large blocks, the symbol was then JMCGC, now JMCG. Fechtor, Detwiler are brokers with 32 offices and based out of Boston. From my DD JMCG is worth 6MM with only 100k in libialities. FD, wants to be a listed company as of now privately held, IMHO I think the end result will be another on line trading co., like JBOH. The above is from their notice I received last week.
