Short term correction coming up. Today's rally fell apart in the big inut names towards the close..

I'm keeping my calls, but buying a bunch of puts at the open this morning.. I'll ride them down for the profit (maybe only a day) and then dump them. My call positions are too large to easily move in and out of. :(

Glenn I thought I was bolstering your original point about the demographics of aol users, but after reading your post
again I see my response post may have seemed a counterpoint which was not my intent at all. (sorry for that)

Victor,

This reminds me of how a story is passed around and changes.I any case, we were caying the exact same thing.

think you are right about the midlle-inc market for aol, although I have no data to prove it. They are appealing to the
broadest mass of net users possible, and that would logically correlate to the middle inc folks who make up so much
of the population and can afford computers and ongoing acccess fees. I think also that aol is a major hit with
teenagers.

I could agree with you more. In addition, if one is selling a service for a "fixed fee," would it not make sense to target the masses? A billionaire using AOL would pay $21.95/month. That is not anymore than someone making $30K per years pays and there are for more of the $30K per year people.

The teenagers are heavy users as you say and I believe they sway their parents decision too based on my sister's continued subscription to AOL for her daughter. My sister will not switch for that reason alone.

I will be leaving for work shortly so please take good care of the market for me. I can use the money after last year<G>

Glenn

PS Besides part of my land sale is going to the broker as per contract.
