Ron: In terms of overall knowledge, I can't hold Shane's jock strap. So I always welcome his posts. But I think that he did a real disservice to his relationship with LSI corporate when he drifted into the obscenities. That sort of stuff clearly reflected poorly on Shane.

The FPGA issue is huge, and it will be discussed in much greater detail over the next 12 to 18 months on both this board and in the media. My bet is on the LSI--not XLNX. After all, it was XLNX (the leader in FPGA) that was trying to peddle its technology to LSI rather than LSI trying to peddle its technology to XLNX. That says a lot.
