Ancor mentioned in Jubak Journal

That's true especially when I compare the stock to its less-followed twin, Ancor Communications (ANCR). Ancor, followed by two analysts vs. the five that follow QLogic, sold off this summer from $38 to the current price of $26. That 38% decline was justified -- Ancor's biggest customer, Boeing (BA), is cutting back on orders -- but it certainly takes the risk out of the stock. And the company does have good prospects. It has signed an agreement to sell its switches to Sun Microsystems (SUNW). Revenue from that deal should start to materialize in the fourth quarter of 1999 and the stock should start to move on anticipation of that news before December. Meanwhile, Ancor has put in a solid base that limits the downside on the stock to $25 or so.
