gary, the cynic in me actually thinks nite may have informed analysts early of the problem, hence the clear selling pattern by large players and the increase in the short position prior to the downward revision of earnings.

clearly the deal with mer will be a huge plus, as are the other ventures nite is venturing in on. clearly nite mgmt has a plan to expand into other areas and the presence to look for ways to cut costs, without sacrificing transactions.
