all of the following is ripped off Martin Gilberts Biography of Winston: Churchills Speech of November 10, at the Mansion House. He told Londons Lord Mayor. 'Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is perhaps, the end of the beginning.' In the same speech he said 'We are not sitting idly we are now like a cat ready to pounce on our foes with all the zeal of a Lion starved for revenge.' Thats a much better quote in my opinion.
