I know that you're a busy man - but you should look more deeply into this area. Liquid Audio appears to be well focused and positioned to profit from it's relationships with record companies and the record companies desire to make money. It's not about MP3 versus Liquid Audio nor about free vs. pay (it will always be pay - if bands didn't care about the money they would give away free cassettes on the street corner).

It's about which companies are in position to profit from helping record companies make money no matter what the standard for digital encryption/delivery is - LQID is there and doing this today - all MPPP is doing is providing free A&R to the record companies.
