Binx, a quick take on your consortium post: Anyone who isn't part of this deal is S-O-L (sorry Sony!) Matsushita Electric will make the consumer products, Toshiba will manufacture the chips, and SNDK will control the licensing issues. Within a week or two, the Music industry will voice their approval. After a short debate, the motion picture industry should join in. Done deal. But, once again, we haven't a clue what the license terms are so we have no way to predict how it will affect SNDK's bottom line. I'm gonna sit on the shares I have left and do absolutely nothing.
