I know Stewart owned a large position in Awre, that at one time was letter stock as he was an early venture investor. What % I have no idea. If he was levered on the SBTKE position that may create the need to raise cash thru the sale of other securities he may own...I have no answers, but the charts for each stock show the selloff began in both at about the same time...and the dip this week in awre coincides with sbtke falling to 2 after announcing things are much worse...

I am simply looking for some possibilities to explain this rapid fall, when others in the dsl arena are not showing similar patterns in the last few weeks

Scrapps, are you awake yet? All he was saying it was possible that stewart was getting margin calls because of Sabratek and thus may be forced to sell AWRE to meet them. How real, who knows, but it is a possiblity. Just musing
