Of course culture for culture's sake is sterile. It can't be manufactured or dabbled in as a hobby. It has to permeate the air we breathe. The level of ones education has nothing to do with it. It has to do with folkways, tradition, and well rooted beliefs.

Hard archaeo-violence vs. soft neo-violence. Hmmm... this one sounds interesting.

You are correct about my being a supporter of the Ancien Regime. Who has done more for Europe than the Bourbons or the Habsburgs? What has been built in Austria since the Habsburgs abdicated that has any value?
