Rob, doesn't it look like IDX has established a pretty solid bottom above $7 (absent either a general market decline or company-specific bad news)?

Rob,

This post goes out to the Boys in the Montana Cabin......especially Lorretta....who drives the ball soooooo well.

New AG Edwards research report arrived on Verisign today.

Buy/Aggressive

Recent price 83

52 week high/low.......96 - 9

EPS.....
1998.....($0.39).....1999e $.0.02.......2000e $0.30

Market Value to Sales.......72.1x

The 3 "talking points"......(big capital letters)

1. "We view the stock as a proxy for the accelerating growth of the electronic commerce market."

2. "Verisign is proving that its business model is the one to emulate in the digital certificate space."

3. "Verisign's first-mover advantage, name recognition and robust infrastructure provide significant barriers to entry for the competition."

End

Now....I know nobody is in the mood to hear it......but holy moly.......72x sales....aggressive buy.......30 cent estimate for 2000.

IDX is the next step.....all of the above applies. And IDX is on sale now for 2.5x sales. Yes....2.5x sales.

IDX at 72 times sales?.........Jeesh. The dues checks will be rolling in!

ps. If only I could go back and buy VRSN at $9.00......gosh would that be cool. I would have bought a lot of VRSN at $9.00 if I only knew. Hmmmm.
